A collision takes seconds. Dealing with the insurance adjusters can take months. We make sure they take your case seriously from day one.
A car accident can upend everything at once: your health, your income, your transportation. Whether you were rear-ended at a light, T-boned at an intersection, or caught in a freeway pileup, we work to identify every liable party and every available source of insurance coverage.
From there, we handle the whole claim. We document the scene, gather witness statements, deal with the adjusters, and negotiate hard. If the insurance company won't be reasonable, we're prepared to take your case to trial. You focus on recovering, and we handle the rest.
What to do after a crash
If you're able, get to safety and call 911, even for a crash that seems minor. Get medical attention the same day; some serious injuries, like whiplash and concussions, don't fully show up until later, and a same-day medical record ties your injuries to the crash. Photograph the vehicles, the scene, and your injuries, get the other driver's insurance information, and ask any witnesses for their phone numbers.
Then be careful with the insurance company. The other driver's insurer may call quickly, sounding friendly, and ask for a recorded statement or offer a fast settlement. Their goal is to close your claim cheaply before you know what your case is worth. You're not required to give them a statement, and you shouldn't accept any offer before talking to a lawyer.
What your claim can cover
A car accident claim isn't just about the emergency room bill. Depending on your case, compensation can cover current and future medical treatment, physical therapy, lost wages and reduced earning ability, damage to your vehicle, and pain and suffering. California generally gives you two years from the date of injury to file a lawsuit, but evidence fades fast, so the sooner we start, the stronger your case.
