Rebuilding after a fire is hard enough without an insurer nickel-and-diming your claim. We make sure they don't get away with it.
Fire claims are routinely disputed or undervalued, especially around smoke damage, structural repairs, and the cost of temporary housing while you rebuild. If you have an active homeowner's or renter's policy, you're entitled to the full benefit of it.
We document the extent of the damage, obtain repair estimates, and negotiate directly with your insurer so you can rebuild without unnecessary delays or lowball offers.
How fire claims get underpaid
After a fire, insurers commonly pay quickly for the obvious burn damage and quietly undervalue everything else: smoke and soot that penetrated walls and ductwork, structural weakening that isn't visible, code upgrades required during rebuilding, and the cost of housing your family while the work gets done. The first estimate is almost never the full measure of the loss.
What we do on your claim
We help you document the entire loss, including a complete inventory of damaged belongings, obtain independent repair estimates rather than relying on the insurer's numbers, and handle the adjuster so deadlines and demands don't fall on you while you're displaced. Your policy likely includes additional living expenses coverage for temporary housing; we make sure it's actually paid.
Keep every receipt from the day of the fire forward, photograph everything before cleanup, and don't sign a release or accept a final payment before the full scope of damage is known. Once you sign, reopening the claim is far harder.
